Where are you originally from? Born and Raised in Ocean City, MD

Years in Utah? 16 1/2 yrs. I moved to Utah in July of 2000

What brought you here? My parents moved me out here when I was in high school. My step father lived in Logan for 10yrs back in the 80's and loved it, so when he had a job opportunity in Salt Lake he jumped at the opportunity and my family relocated.

What keeps you here? When I first arrived I never thought I would call Utah home, I had grown in a beach town and never though I would consider the cold and snowy mountains home, but it didn't take very long for me to change my mind. After my first winter here I fell in love with the mountains and skiing, and my first full summer here introduced me to rock climbing, hiking, and camping in the desert. After you realize everything that Utah has to offer, it's pretty hard to consider leaving behind the outdoor lifestyle that it offers. I left for a short while during college to experience big city living, but after being away for less than a year I decided that Utah was definitely where I wanted to call home and headed back. I have since met my husband and we now have 2 young boys in whom we are trying our best to instill a love for the great outdoors. We take them with us on all of our family friendly outdoor adventures, and they seem to love it!

Prior work background? Before making the full time switch to real estate I worked for 13 years in the dental field in various positions including dental assistant, office manager, and insurance billing specialist. I also worked part time at snowbird from 2003-2012.

Education Level and concentration? Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Utah.

Something interesting you love? I love photography, especially landscape and night time photography! I am definitely an amateur, but love trying and I take pictures of everything. My goal is to actually take a picture that I like enough to hang in my living room.... so far I'm 0 for about 50,000 attempts, but I'm not going to give up!

Why you got into real estate? I have always had an interest in real estate. My husband and I have bought, renovated and sold homes, and have investment properties in the Salt Lake Valley. Real estate was always something that intrigued me, and I found myself constantly watching the market, searching listings, and talking to people I knew about buying homes and investing in real estate. After noticing how often friends and family would come to me for advice when buying or selling properties, it sunk in one day that this is something I was good at and should consider doing for a living.Where are you originally from? Something funny about you that you would like to share? I have been known to sleep with my eyes open... even after 10 years it still freaks out my husband. Lucky him, our kids do it too!
