Where are you originally from?
I'm originally from Chugiak, Alaska, a small town north of Anchorage. I grew up in a military family, though, which meant we packed up and moved every two to three years!
When did you move to Utah?
August, 2005
What brought you here?
I came down from Alaska to attend college at the University of Utah. Go UTES!
Prior work background?
I come from an arts and sciences background, with degrees in the unlikely pair of both Ballet and Biology. I've worked in genetics research labs and taught ballet classes to children between the ages of 5 and 17. Most recently, I worked as a cytogenetics analyst where I specialized in checking the chromosomes of patients for genetic anomalies that cause cancer or infertility.

Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ballet, and a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry
Something interesting you love?
I have always been passionate about health and fitness. Here in Utah the close proximity of the mountains allows me to take my fitness to higher altitudes. On top of this, the community as a whole is very active and movement oriented, so I'm constantly motivated to get up, get outside, and get moving.
What brought you into the real estate sales business?
Growing up in a military family meant I was moving to a new town every two to three years. We never lived on the Air Force bases and would instead go house hunting in each new city. My sisters and I were lucky enough to have parents who wanted to include us in the search, and as a result, I've been in and around the buying and selling of homes my whole life.
My role as a laboratory technician often made me feel as if I was working in the background of bettering people’s lives instead of at the forefront. The switch to real estate gives me the opportunity to continue helping others like I did in the healthcare industry, but to do it with more of a direct impact. Buying or selling a home may be one of the biggest financial decisions my clients make, and I'm excited to be their guide to a more secure financial future in a field I feel comfortable in.
Something funny about you that you would like to share?
I can’t be in the same room as Jell-O, its wiggles absolutely creeps me out...Do you chew it, or just swallow it whole?
